PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-treating agent composition which gives the advantage of the compounding of a cellulose derivative, can dissolve its defect of hair touch deterioration, and improves the strength of hair.SOLUTION: This hair-treating agent composition comprises a component (A): an alicyclic polyol, and a component (B): a cellulose derivative. The component (A) is preferably inositol. Preferably, a component (C1): an acidic or neutral amino acid is further compounded.
