PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep state estimation apparatus capable of highly accurately estimating a sleep state or a sleep stage on the basis of feature amounts extracted from measured data of respiration motion and body motion of a person to be measured using a wearable sensor.SOLUTION: The sleep state estimation apparatus according to the present invention determines to which of a plurality of sleep stages in a sleep state including an arousal stage a subject's sleep state belongs on the basis of a sleep state function calculated with a respiration motion feature amount and a body motion feature amount used as variables, both feature amounts extracted from a time-sequentially measured respiration motion index value and body motion index value of the subject respectively. The sleep state function includes coefficient parameters set up on the basis of learning data that consists of a determination result of the sleep stage by the measurement of the sleep state for correction, and the respiration motion feature amount and body motion feature amount measured simultaneously with the sleep state measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】 ウェアラブルセンサを用いて計測される人の呼吸運動や体動の計測データから抽出される特徴量に基づいて、精度良く、睡眠状態又は睡眠段階の推定を可能な睡眠状態推定装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 本発明の装置は、被検者の時系列に計測された呼吸運動指標値及び体動指標値からそれぞれ抽出された呼吸運動特徴量と体動特徴量とを変数として算出される睡眠状態関数に基づいて、被検者の睡眠状態が、覚醒段階を含む睡眠状態に於ける複数の睡眠段階のうちのいずれに属するかを判定する。睡眠状態関数は、校正用の睡眠状態の計測による睡眠段階の判定結果と、これと同時に為された計測による呼吸運動特徴量及び体動特徴量とから成る学習用データに基づいて設定された係数パラメータを含む関数である。【選択図】 図１
