Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines dentalen prothetischen Formteils, wie einer Teil- oder Totalprothese, die mehrschichtig hergestellt wird aus einem generativ hergestellten Vollkörpermodell mindestens eines Prothesenzahns oder eines Prothesenzahnbogens, wobei die Prothesenzähne innen zahnhalsseitig ein Lumen aufweisen in das eine dentinfarbene, polymerisierbare Zusammensetzung eingefüllt wird. Diese Zusammensetzung wird anschließend in mindestens einem Schritt polymerisiert. Der mindestens eine Prothesenzahn mit dentinfarbener Zusammensetzung wird mit seiner zervikalen Seite auf der zahnseitigen Oberfläche der Prothesenbasis angeordnet und zusammengepresst. Nachfolgend wird die erhaltene Teil- oder Totalprothese in einem Lichthärtegerät vollständig ausgehärtet.
