Formulations containing triazinones, selected from toltrazuril, ponazuril and diclazuril, a polynuclear iron(III) polysaccharide complex compound which are suitable for the simultaneous control of coccidiosis and anaemic states in animals and which exhibit a low amount of free iron ions even after storage, while the formulations comprises Ca2+ and Na+ in a molar ratio of Ca2+:Na+ from ≥ 0 to ≤ 3. In one embodiment the triazinone is toltrazuril and the polynuclear iron(III) polysaccharide complex compound is iron(III) dextran glucoheptonate.
