A head structure of a brush appliance comprises a frame (32) movably connected with a head driving shaft (12), driving bristle retainers (23-1, 23-2, 23-3, 23-4) connected with the head driving shaft (12) and driven by the head driving shaft (12), driven bristle retainers (21-1, 21-2, 21-3) arranged at intervals with the driving bristle retainers (23-1, 23-2, 23-3, 23-4) in a staggered mode, and bristles (25, 27) arranged on the driving bristle retainers (23-1, 23-2, 23-3, 23-4) and the driven bristle retainers (21-1, 21-2, 21-3) respectively. In the head structure, the driven bristle retainers (21-1, 21-2, 21-3) are driven by the driving bristle retainers (23-1, 23-2, 23-3, 23-4) from the frame (32) in a constrained mode and move around a respective motion axis (L4, L3, L2). The driving bristle retainers (23-1, 23-2, 23-3, 23-4) are arranged with protrusions (233, 234, 235, 236). The driven bristle retainers (21-1, 21-2, 21-3) are arranged with inclined surfaces (213, 214, 215, 216) which correspondingly cooperate with the protrusions (233, 234, 235, 236). At least one driven point on at least one inclined surface (213, 214, 215, 216) is closer to the driving bristle retainers (23-1, 23-2, 23-3, 23-4) than a contact point or a contact line or a contact surface of the inclined surface and the corresponding protrusions (233, 234, 235, 236), so that the driven bristle retainers (21-1, 21-2, 21-3) are driven by the driving bristle retainers (23-1, 23-2, 23-3, 23-4) in the moving process. The head structure of this invention is simple and compact, and has a good cleaning effect and other auxiliary functions such as massage and the like.
