PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cosmetic, which can be suitably used for uniformly micronizing particles of an oil-based component even in the case of a high content of the oil-based component.SOLUTION: The method for producing a cosmetic comprises a process for mixing a blended raw material containing one or more kinds of oil-based components solid at 25°C under heating to give a fluid and cooling the obtained fluid. The cooling is carried out by using a vibration type stirring blender 40 that is equipped with a stirring body 44 composed of a drive shaft 42 and a stirring blade 43 attached to the drive shaft 42 in a tubular casing 41 and vibrates the drive shaft 42 in the axial direction.
