摘要：: The present invention is directed at substituted amide compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and the use of such compounds to reduce plasma lipid levels, such as LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides and accordingly to treat diseases which are exacerbated by high levels of LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides, such as atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases, in mammals, including humans.本發明係關於經取代之醯胺化合物、含有此類化合物的藥學組成物以及此類化合物之用途，該用途係用於降低血漿脂質濃度(諸如LDL-膽固醇以及三酸甘油酯)且因而用於治療哺乳動物(包括人類)之因高濃度的LDL-膽固醇及三酸甘油酯而惡化的疾病，諸如動脈硬化及心血管疾病。
