The balloon catheter comprises: a flexible tube which is a flexible member extended in a length direction in order to be inserted in vivo and is equipped with a pressurizing path including a main path, a drain path, and a side part hole a balloon member which wraps a part of the flexible tube and is expanded in a semi-diameter direction of the flexible tube by means of fluid discharged through the side part hole from the pressurizing path and a steering wire which is extended to the rear side of the flexible tube while the front end thereof is fixed in the front end of the flexible tube, and pulls the front end of the flexible tube to be bent when backwardly tensioned by means of external force. In the balloon catheter of the present invention, a balloon unit is transparently formed, so that the external situation of the balloon unit can be confirmed in real time through an endoscopic camera from the inside of the main path. Accordingly, the expanded degree and expanded speed of a balloon can be precisely adjusted while the condition of synechia or stricture parts is confirmed. Moreover, a separate drain path is further comprised, so that a saline solution can be immediately discharged even when a saline solution of a large quantity is injected.
