PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for hair giving good conditioning effect, especially slipperiness and moistness even to damaged hair.SOLUTION: The composition for hair comprises (A) a tertiary amine compound having a specific structure containing a hydroxyalkyl group and (B) an inorganic acid and/or organic acid as essential components and optionally further comprises (C) a higher alcohol, (D) an oily component, (E) a silicone oil and (F) a polyhydric alcohol.
