PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless electronic endoscope capable of securing favorable operability.
SOLUTION: A flexible tube 32 forming a soft section 13a of an insertion section 13 of this electronic endoscope 10 is connected with a power feeder 41 from a power supply device 40 of a transmission section 57 at a portion of the length L, or 1/n ((n) is integer) of wavelength &lambda of an electric wave 12, from the end in the side of a distal end 13a. A portion 31a of a tubular net body 31 which falls under the portion 32a of the length L of the flexible tube 32, is composed of an insulator such as aramid fiber. A portion 31b of the tubular net body 31 falling under the other portion 32b of the flexible tube 32 is composed of a conductor such as metal and the conductor portion 31b and the power supply device 40 are connected to the earth. The portion 32a of the length L of the flexible tube 32 is functioned as an end fed type helical whip antenna 32a.
