The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition includingloratidine, itsuse in the treatment of upper respiratory mucosal congestion and a method ofadministrationof the composition. Particularly, though not exclusively, the inventionrelates to apharmaceutical composition including loratidine in an amount suitable foradministration amaximum of 4 times a day, and a second active that is a hydroxyl-.alpha.-[(methylamino)methyl]-benzenemethanol, such 3-hydroxyl-.alpha.-[(methylamino) methyl]-benzenemethanol(phenylephrine), or salt thereof.
