PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing which is not affected by a drag setting force and has excellent waterproof performance while stabilizing the regulation in the axial direction of a spool. SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing hits the rear side of a spool 3 which is fixed to a spool shaft 8, a drag mechanism 20, and a spool shaft 8 and pressed against a reel body side by a drag setting force of the drag mechanism 20. It is provided with a plate-shaped regulating member 30 that is in contact with the spool 3 and regulates the movement of the spool 3 toward the reel body. A first seal member 31 attached to the outer peripheral side of the regulating member 30 and a second sealing member 32 attached to the inner peripheral side of the rear surface of the regulating member 30 are provided. The first seal member 31 is elastically deformably in contact with the rear inner peripheral surface 3g of the spool 3, and the second seal member 32 is elastically deformably in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the spool shaft 8.
