PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a neutron beam shielding structure capable of shielding neutron beams from a beam source with a small-scale structure and reducing the thickness of a concrete wall for neutron beam shield a local shield and a neutron beam shielding method.SOLUTION: A neutron beam shielding structure is a shielding structure for shielding neutron beams from a beam source 20 by a local shield 31. The local shield 31 is formed of a material capable of absorbing neutron beams, has a cone or frustum outer shape, and is disposed in an attitude in which the local shield is splayed out toward the traveling direction of particle beams.
