The present invention relates to a composition for photodynamic treatment (PDT), which contains propolis as an active ingredient. The composition for photodynamic treatment of the present invention stimulates apoptosis of cancer cell induced by photodynamic treatment, and is capable of inhibiting occurrence of photosensitization due to an excessive photosensitizer by reducing treatment dose of the photosensitizer which is used in the photodynamic treatment, thereby being able to be applied in more effective photodynamic treatment.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016본 발명은 프로폴리스를 유효성분으로 하는 광역동 치료시술용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 PDT 시술용 조성물은 PDT 시술에 의해 유발되는 암 세포의 세포자멸을 촉진시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, PDT 시술에 사용되는 광감작제의 처리양을 감소키셔서, 과도한 광감작제로 인하여 발생하는 광과민증의 발생을 억제할 수 있으므로, 보다 효과적인 PDT 시술에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
