PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face image recognition apparatus such that the hand of a person to be recognized who inputs identification information such as a password or ID number will not obstruct inputting of a face image.
SOLUTION: In the face image recognition apparatus having a ten-key section which is used to input identification information such as a password or an ID number, the ten-key section is disposed on the lower right side of or directly below a camera as seen from the person to be recognized, so that the hand of the person to be recognized who inputs identification information such as the password or the ID number will not obstruct inputting of a face image.
