Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren, ein Computerprogrammprodukt, ein System und einen Verbindungsanalysator zum Bestimmen von verfügbaren Kommunikationsfunktionalitäten bei der Konfiguration eines DICOM-Knotens in einem DICOM-Netzwerk. Dabei erfolgt ein automatisches Erfassen der verfügbaren Kommunikationsfunktionalitäten durch Test-Verbindungsanfragen (1, 2, 5, ...) und Analyse der Test-Verbindungsantworten (2, 4, 6, ...). Nach der Analyse kann das Ergebnis mit den erfassten Kommunikationsfunktionalitäten automatisch bereitgestellt werden. Das Ergebnis wird vorzugsweise in der Konfigurationsphase und noch vor Inbetriebnahme des jeweiligen DICOM-Knotens bereitgestellt.The invention relates to a method, a computer program product, a system and a connection analyzer for determining available communication functionalities when configuring a DICOM node in a DICOM network.
