PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition containing Terminalia chebula Retzius, Galla Rhois, or Cymbopogon citratus extract is provided to prevent and treat infection in fishes and to replace antibiotics.CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition contains Terminalia chebula Retzius, Galla Rhois, or Cymbopogon citratus extract as an active ingredient. The composition has an antibacterial activity against Vibrio anguillarum, Edwardsiella tarda, and Streptococcus iniae.
