A probe includes an insertion tube, a magnetic fieldsensor, a dummy load mounted adjacent to the magnetic fieldsensor, and a braid. The braid includes multiple braid wiresthat traverse a length of the insertion tube. A first pair ofthe braid wires is connected across the magnetic fieldsensor, and a second pair of the braid wires is connectedacross the dummy load.
