PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic image detector that can be manufactured at low cost, has excellent impact resistance and high resolution, and can prevent decrease in its sensitivity.SOLUTION: An X-ray image detector 10 comprises a photoelectric conversion panel 21, a phosphor layer 20, and a phosphor support substrate 25. The photoelectric conversion panel 21 has pixels 41 aligned in a two-dimensional matrix, the pixels 41 each comprising a photodiode (PD) 43 for performing photoelectric conversion. The phosphor layer 20 comprises a partition 23 having openings 23a each formed at a position corresponding to each PD 43, and a phosphor 24 filled in each opening 23a for converting X-rays into visible light. The phosphor support substrate 25 is disposed on a side of the phosphor layer 20 opposite to the photoelectric conversion panel 21, and supports the phosphor layer 20. The phosphor support substrate 25 has first alignment marks 27 formed thereon.
