PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip device for an endoscope in which a first locking part on the clip side locked to a second locking part provided in an operation wire side is hard to be detached, and thereby a locking state can be maintained well.SOLUTION: A clip device 100 for an endoscope is used by attaching a clip 200 including an arm part 40 and a first locking part 50 provided at a base end side of the arm part 40. The device includes a long sheath 10, an operation wire 20, and a second locking part 30 provided on a distal side of the operation wire 20 and engaged with the first locking part 50 in the clip 200. The second locking part 30 has a base end 32 positioned on the proximal side and three or more claws 34 extending in an axial direction of the operation wire 20 from the base end 32 toward the distal side. Protrusions 36 projected inward are provided in the three or more claws 34, and a space 150 for encompassing and locking the first locking part 50 is defined between the base end 32 and the protrusions 36 provided in the three or more claws 34.
