PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain sensor and a rice polishing control device of a rice polishing device incorporated with the sensor, capable of detecting both stopping of a supply grain and full amount filling of a grain storage part, for controlling grain processing.SOLUTION: The grain sensor is constituted of a chute (4a) for guiding a received grain and a detection part (41a) for detecting the grain quantity in this chute (4a) within its detection range, and is provided with a grain storage part (4) for storing the grain received from the chute (4a), and can detect by a single detection member without requiring an individual detection member on passing detection of the grain and full amount deposit level detection of the grain by arranging the detection part (41a) in a grain deposit range of this grain storage part (4), and can execute stable polished rice replenishing operation by controlling a rice polishing machine in response to the respective detection.
