The present invention provides an aqueous liquid fragrance composition which contains a fragrance, gluconate, an anionic surfactant, a non-ionic surfactant, and water, the sum of the amounts of anionic surfactant and non-ionic surfactant contained per 1 weight part of fragrance being 0.3 to 1.4 weight parts also provided is an aqueous liquid fragrance using the same. By containing gluconate, an anionic surfactant, and a non-ionic surfactant within an aqueous liquid fragrance composition, this composition makes it possible to reduce the amount of surfactant for solubilizing the fragrance in water.
