The invention concerns a crosslinking monomer with at least one sulphur atom, illustrable by a structure of formula (I) with symbols defined as follows: L1 is a linear, branched or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, aliphatic or heteroaliphatic group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms; an aromatic or heteroaromatic group having 4 to 12 carbon atoms or a group having 6 to 14 carbon atoms which comprises at least one saturated or unsaturated, aliphatic and/or heteroaliphatic radical and at least one aromatic and/or heteroaromatic radical, the phosphorus atom being joined directly to a carbon atom; V1 is a saturated or unsaturated, aliphatic or heteroaliphatic group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, an aromatic or heteroaromatic group having 5 to 50 carbon atoms or a group having 6 to 50 carbon atoms which comprises at least one saturated or unsaturated, aliphatic and/or heteroaliphatic radical and at least one aromatic and/or heteroaromatic radical; X1 is alike or different at each occurrence and is O or NR3; R1 is H or a hydrolysable group; R2 is H or an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R3 is H or an aliphatic, heteroaliphatic, aromatic oder heteroaromatic group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and n is 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, where the sulphur atom in the structure of formula (I) is separated by not more than 12 bonds from the group X1 which is removed by the fewest number of bonds from the sulphur atom, counting double or triple bonds as single bonds.
