Skin expansion system (1) for reducing a tissue-lined wound, the skin expansion system (1) comprising: - an elastically deformable link (5) for extending between the tissues lining the wound in such a manner a tension in the link (5) produces a traction along the tissues bordering the wound to bring said tissues close to each other, the link (5) having opposite first (5a) and second ends, - a tensioner (10) ) adapted to maintain a tension in the link (5), wherein the link (5) is adapted to suture the wound directly through the tissue bordering the wound into at least two stitches, the link being made of biocompatible material and comprising a suture needle (6) secured to the first end (5a). Système d'expansion cutanée (1) pour réduire une plaie bordée par des tissus, le système d'expansion cutanée (1) comprenant : - un lien (5) déformable élastiquement destiné à s'étendre entre les tissus bordant la plaie de telle manière qu'une tension dans le lien (5) produise une traction le long des tissus bordant la plaie pour rapprocher lesdits tissus les uns des autres, le lien (5) présentant des première (5a) et deuxième extrémités opposées, - un tendeur (10) adapté pour maintenir une tension dans le lien (5), dans lequel le lien (5) est adapté pour suturer la plaie en traversant directement les tissus bordant la plaie en au moins deux points de suture, le lien étant réalisé en matériau biocompatible et comprenant une aiguille de suture (6) solidarisée à la première extrémité (5a).
