The present invention relates among other things to a novel method of diagnosing cancer by applying antibodies that bind to human C1 inactivator, antibodies that bind to human C Reactive Protein and/or antibodies that bind to human Complement Component C4. Also the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising one or more antibodies that bind to C inactivator, antibodies that bind to human C Reactive Protein and/or antibodies that bind to human Complement Component C4 for use in the treatment of cancer, inhibiting growth of cancer and/or inhibiting proliferation of cancer.La présente invention concerne, entre autres choses, une nouvelle méthode de diagnostic du cancer par application d'anticorps se liant à un inactivateur humain C1, d'anticorps se liant à une protéine réactive C et/ou d'anticorps se liant à un composant C4 du complément humain.
