PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut off weeds floating on a water surface after being scraped from a paddy surface with weeding nails without leaving them to prevent the weeds from taking root again in soil of the paddy surface during weeding work in a paddy field.SOLUTION: A paddy-field weeding work machine (W1) comprises a traveling machine (1), and a weeder (A1) that is arranged in the traveling machine and is adjustable in height with respect to the traveling machine by a height adjustment mechanism arranged between itself and the traveling machine. The weeder has a weeding nail device (5) which scraps weeds in intrarow spacing of rice stubble by reciprocating in a direction orthogonal to a traveling direction of the traveling machine by a drive device, and a weed cutting device (6) which is arranged behind the weeding nail device. The weeding nail device has a nail stand, and a plurality of weeding nails (52) arranged at the nail stand. The weed cutting device has a plurality of longitudinally rotatable cutters (67) which are provided at positions to be interrow spacing of the rice stubble during weeding work, respectively. The cutters scrape and cut weeds in the interrow spacing of the rice stubble, and cut weeds floating on a water surface after being scraped with the weeding nail device.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】水田における除草作業において、除草爪で田面から掻き取って水面に浮かせた雑草をそのまま放置せずに切断処理して、田面の土に再度根付いてしまうことがないようにする。【解決手段】水田除草作業機(W1)は、走行機(1)と、走行機に配置されており、走行機との間に配置されている高さ調節機構により走行機に対する高さの調節ができる除草機(A1)とを備えており、除草機は、駆動装置により走行機の走行方向と直交する方向に往復動することにより稲株の株間の雑草を掻き取る除草爪装置(5)と、除草爪装置の後方に配置された草切断装置(6)とを有し、除草爪装置は、爪台と、爪台に複数配置されている除草爪(52)とを有し、草切断装置は、除草作業時において稲株の条間となる位置にそれぞれ設けられた、縦方向に回転する複数のカッター(67)を有し、カッターは、稲株の条間の雑草の掻き取り及び切断と、除草爪装置で掻き取ることで水面に浮いた雑草の切断を行う。【選択図】図1
