A defecation monitoring and controlling method. The method comprises: a wearable terminal (110) determining, in real time, whether a pet is defecating； if the pet is defecating, then determining whether the pet is defecating at a designated indoor location； if not, then sending a defecation induction command to an induction terminal (120) disposed at the designated indoor location； the induction terminal (120) playing, on the basis of the defecation induction command, a preset voice of an owner to guide the pet to defecate at the designated indoor location； and/or spraying a defecation inducer at the designated indoor location to induce the pet to defecate at the designated indoor location.
