Provided is a scirpusin B- containing composition and a method for producing this scirpusin B- containing composition, the said scirpusin B- containing composition is obtained from natural substance and contains high amount of scirpusin B. This scirpusin B- containing composition is obtained from passionfruit by extraction. The extraction of scirpusin B is carried out by crushing the passion fruit seed, then adding at least one solvent selected from water-containing alcohols and water-containing ketons, and extracting the scirpusin B to said solvent.
