An insertion tool for co-operation with a dental implant, said implant having at least one anti-rotation surface, the insertion tool extending along a longitudinal axis and comprising at its distal end a resilient sleeve, said sleeve comprising at least one torque transmission surface and being adjustable between a first, rest position, and a second, stressed position, wherein the location of the at least one torque transmission surface is different in the first and second positions, the insertion tool further comprising an actuation means arranged to selectively engage with the sleeve in order to adjust this between the first and second positions, the tool being arranged such that, in use, adjustment of the sleeve from the first to second position enables a better contact between the at least one anti-rotation surface and the at least one torque transmission surface.Linvention concerne un outil dinsertion destiné à coopérer avec un implant dentaire, ledit implant présentant au moins une surface anti-rotation. Loutil dinsertion sétend le long dun axe longitudinal et comprend au niveau de son extrémité distale un manchon résilient, ledit manchon comprenant au moins une surface de transmission de couple et pouvant se régler entre une première position de repos et une seconde position étirée. Lemplacement de ladite au moins une surface de transmission de couple est différent dans les première et seconde positions. Loutil dinsertion comprend également un moyen dactionnement conçu pour venir sélectivement en contact avec le manchon afin de régler ce dernier entre les première et seconde positions, loutil étant conçu de sorte que, en utilisation, le réglage du manchon de la première à la seconde position permette un meilleur contact entre ladite au moins une surface anti-rotation et ladite au moins une surface de transmission de couple.
