PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article comprising a skin surface sheet having salient parts and recess parts, capable of improving pulling property of a body fluid.SOLUTION: A top sheet 50 of a disposable diaper 10 has salient parts 52 and recess parts 51. An absorber 40 comprises a center part 46 arranged on a center part of the absorber in a width direction and on which an absorbent material is arranged so as to become hollow to a non-skin facing surface side relative to surrounding parts on the absorber. The salient parts and recess parts are arranged on an area overlapped to the center part. A density of fibers of the recess parts is higher than a density of fibers of the salient parts.
