A computerized method of simulation for providing assistance in planning thermotherapy, while thermotherapy includes hyperthermic treatment of the tumor volume in the body volume of the human body, while hyperthermic treatment involves the application of a magnetic field in the treated volume by means of a magnetic field applicator, while thermal energy can be introduced into at least one placement volume by absorbing energy in an applied magnetic field by means of a magnet paramagnetic and / or superparamagnetic nanoparticles placed in the body, and the method includes the following steps, in which: - in the first step of the calculation (“T selection”), the field strength value to be set on the applicator is calculated, based on the geometric distribution of nanoparticles and at least one prescribed temperature limit value, which should not be exceeded during hyperthermal treatment, while the field strength value is calculated at the first stage of calculations (“T selection”) based on the prescribed characteristic curve, which shows the relationship between the (control) energy absorption coefficient and field strength; - at the optional second stage of the calculations (“H-controller”, “fast H-controller”) calculate the temperature distribution, which should be expected at least for a portion of the body volume for each field strength value for a plurality of prescribed field strength values and / or a user-defined field strength value; and - provide the calculated voltage value1.
