PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the value of elasticity measured by dynamic elastography in consideration of stress generated by firmly attaching an ultrasonic probe to a subject to be tested.SOLUTION: An ultrasonograph includes: a transverse wave sound velocity/Youngs modulus operation part 13 which obtains an elastic value in a measurement region by measuring the propagation velocity of a transverse wave generated in the measurement region by push pulses radiated to the measurement region of a living tissue of the subject 1 to be tested from the probe 2 an elastic image formation part which forms an elastic image according to the elastic value obtained by the transverse wave sound velocity/Youngs modulus operation part 13 and an image display device 10 which displays the elastic image formed by the elastic image formation part.
