PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a display screen of a liquid crystal display device of an electric reel for fishing in which it is hard to grasp the outline of the reel body even in lighting, and the visual angle is narrow and consequently the information has to be visually recognized from the front of the display screen.SOLUTION: The multifunctional display device of the electric reel for fishing is provided on the surface of an exterior member provided on the electric reel so that a strip-shaped luminescent part in which light emitting regions continuously divided into a plurality of sections emit strip-shaped lights, is exposed.
