PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a different wavelength light selection device that contributes miniaturization of the device and absolute elimination of vibration and noise as well as improvement of durability.SOLUTION: A different wavelength light selection device (107) is continuously arranged with a front stage selection unit (118) for polarizing first wavelength light and configured by sandwiching a first liquid crystal panel (122) between two polarizers (120, 121) through which second wavelength light of the wavelength longer than that of the first wavelength light passes, and a rear stage selection unit (119) for polarizing the second wavelength light and configured by sandwiching a second liquid crystal panel (125) between two polarizers (123, 124) through which the first wavelength light passes.
