PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet food allowing reduction in pet vomiting after meal.SOLUTION: Provided are: 1) a pet food consisting of aggregation of formed-granules, where granules having a hardness of 2.5 kgw or less shortly after immersion in diluted hydrochloric acid (pH 2.5) at 20 to 25°C for 10 minutes are 60% or more of the aggregation, 2) the pet food where granules having a hardness of 1.3 kgw or less are 40% or more of the aggregation, 3) the pet food where the water percentage content of the granules before the immersion is 7.0 to 11.0 wt.%, 4) the pet food where lignocellulose or glycerin is comprised, 5) the pet food where the surface of the granules is coated with fat and oil, 6) the pet food where the shape of the granules has a short diameter and a long diameter of 3 to 25 mm and a thickness of 3 to 20 mm and is pellet, and 7) the pet food which is a feed for a cat.【課題】ペットが食後に嘔吐することが低減されたペットフードを提供する。【解決手段】１）成形された粒の集合からなるペットフードであって、２０～２５℃の希塩酸（ｐＨ２．５）に１０分間浸漬した直後の硬さが２．５ｋｇｗ以下である粒が、前記集合のうち６０％以上含まれるペットフード。２）前記硬さが１．３ｋｇｗ以下である粒が、前記集合のうち４０％以上含まれる前記ペットフード。３）前記浸漬前における前記粒の水分含有率が７．０～１１．０重量％である前記ペットフード。４）リグノセルロース又はグリセリンが含まれる前記ペットフード。５）前記粒の表面が油脂によってコーティングされている前記ペットフード。６）前記粒の形状は、短経および長径が３～２５ｍｍであり且つ厚みが３～２０ｍｍのペレット状である前記ペットフード。７）ネコ用の飼料である前記ペットフード。【選択図】なし
