The present invention relates to an articulation for surgical instruments wherein an articulation for the surgical instrument is fastened by a ball joint. The task to be solved by the present invention is to provide an articulation for surgical instruments using a ball joint without changes in a pitching or yawing axis even if the pitching or yawing is repeated. The articulation for surgical instruments using a ball joint according to the present invention is technically characterized by comprising plurality of disks and a ball joint that mutually enables pitching or yawing for plurality of disks among plurality of the disks based on a length direction of the articulation for a surgical instrument and a driving wire that applies a driving force for pitching, yawing or rolling of plurality of the disks. Due to such technical features, the articulation for surgical instruments using a ball joint according to the present invention can enhance safety of surgical instruments upon application to the surgical instrument, since a rotation axis of the articulation does not change and durability is high despite repeated movements of the articulation.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014본 발명은 수술도구의 관절이 볼 조인트에 의해 체결되는 볼 조인트를 이용한 수술도구용 관절에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서 해결하고자 하는 과제는 피칭 또는 요잉을 반복하더라도 피칭 또는 요잉의 축이 변하지 않는 볼 조인트를 이용한 수술도구용 관절을 제공하는 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 볼 조인트를 이용한 수술도구용 관절은 복수 개의 원판 상기 수술도구용 관절의 길이방향을 기준으로 상기 복수 개의 원판 사이에서 복수 개의 원판이 서로 피칭 또는 요잉 가능하도록 하는 볼 조인트 및 상기 복수 개의 원판을 피칭, 요잉 또는 롤링시키는 구동력을 작용하는 구동와이어를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다. 이러한 기술적 특징에 의하여 본 발명에 따른 볼 조인트를 이용한 수술도구용 관절은 반복적인 관절의 움짐임에도 관절의 회전축이 변하지 않고 내구성이 높아서 수술도구에 적용시 수술도구의 안전성을 높일 수 있다.
