The present invention provides an antibody that binds to the pi 9 subunit of human IL-23 and is characterized as having high affinity, selective, and neutralizing properties. The antibody is useful in the treatment or prevention of an autoimmune or inflammatory condition selected from the group consisting of consisting of multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel diseases, ankylosing spondylitis, graft- versus-host disease, lupus and metabolic syndrome.. The antibody is also useful in the treatment of cancer.La présente invention concerne un anticorps qui se lie à la sous-unité pi 9 de IL-23 humain et est caractérisé en ce qu'il a des propriétés d'affinité, de sélectivité et neutralisantes élevées. L'anticorps est utile dans le traitement ou la prévention d'une affection auto-immune ou inflammatoire choisie dans le groupe constitué de la sclérose en plaques, la polyarthrite rhumatoïde, le psoriasis, les syndromes abdominaux inflammatoires, la spondylarthrite ankylosante, une réaction de greffon contre hôte, le lupus et le syndrome métabolique.
