PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for maturing banana whose facility cost is relatively low and which can simply adjust the volume of a maturing chamber in response to the number of arrivals of banana containers.SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for maturing banana includes a differential pressure type maturing chamber 2 divided with a floor 21, a front side bulkhead 22, a rear side bulkhead 23, both side bulkheads 24 and a ceiling bulkhead 25, banana containers 9 set to the inside of the maturing chamber 2, and blowers 3 for forming air flows in the maturing chamber 2, wherein the front side bulkhead 22 is formed of a sheet material, and a moving mechanism for moving the front side bulkhead 22 toward the rear side bulkhead 23 is disposed.
