The present invention provides an isolated transgenic porcine β cell in which the PKC pathway and the PKA pathway are constitutively activated； a transgenic porcine pancreatic islet containing the transgenic porcine β cell； and the transgenic pig. The present invention relates to a transgenic pig containing β cells or the above-mentioned transgenic pig pancreatic islets.
