To provide a handle return position adjustment mechanism for adjusting easily a position of a handle return to a user's desired rotary angle without decomposition of a reel.SOLUTION: A handle return position adjustment mechanism 6 comprises: a handle 2 supported to a handle shaft 40, and adjusts a return position in a rotary direction on the handle 2 when a clutch being switched between a coupling state for coupling the spool provided on the reel body and the handle 2 and a disconnection state for disconnection, is returned to the coupling state from the disconnection state. The handle shaft 40 comprises a hexagonal member 60 which is detachably attached thereto in a non-rotatable manner and which has a plurality of apex parts 61, the handle 2 comprises recess grooves 62 engaged to the apex part 61.
