PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard bone-regenerating promoter which is prepared both at low expense and at low labor cost and is useful for regenerating a defective or deficient hard bone and to provide a medicinal drug or the like for the treatment of a defective or deficient hard bone.SOLUTION: The administration of diatomite under the periosteum adjacent to a defective or deficient hard bone and the oral administration of diatomite promote the regeneration of a hard bone at its defective or deficient part.
