PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a name tag that can prevent information such as the name, address and telephone number of an owner from being known at normal times and also prevent the loss of a display body displaying the information such as the name, address telephone number of the owner by accidental fall off.SOLUTION: A name tag includes an outer cylindrical body 17 freely and externally fitted to a tape body； and an inner cylindrical body 18 slidably and externally fitted to the tape body and also inserted between the outer cylindrical body 17 and the tape body to be freely taken in and out and so as to be internally fitted to the outer cylindrical body 17. A display part 43 is provided between the outer cylindrical body 17 and the inner cylindrical body 18, on which information such as the name of a pet and the name and address of an owner is displayed, and a lock mechanism 19 is provided between the outer cylindrical body 17 and the inner cylindrical body 18, for locking the inner cylindrical body 18 in the outer cylindrical body 17 in a state of being fitted thereinto.
