PURPOSE: A seedling block is provided to enhance insertion rate of seedlings and to diversify the scale of the block. CONSTITUTION: A seedling block is formed by combing two or more monomers(10). The monomer is comprised of upper and lower surfaces which are symmetrically formed and cylindrical lateral surfaces which are convex in the center. The upper and lower surfaces are formed with a multifunctional groove. The lateral surfaces are formed with one or more horizontal connection holes which penetrate the lateral surfaces.본 발명은 어류의 서식지를 제공하는 어초의 기능을 겸하면서 녹조류 등의 해중림을 조성하여 해양 생태계를 유지 및 되살릴 수 있는 수산생물의 공존 서식이 가능한 종묘블록에 관한 것으로서, 2개 이상의 단위체가 결합되어 형성되되, 상기 단위체는, 구의 상부와 하부를 수평으로 각 절단하여 대칭적으로 형성되는 상, 하면과, 중앙부가 볼록한 원통형상의 측면으로 이루어지되, 상기 상면과 하면에는 서로 대칭되는 위치에 각 테두리를 관통하는 다기능 홈이 형성되고, 상기 측면에는 각 단위체를 수평으로 결합시키기 위한 수평연결공이 적어도 하나 이상 측면을 관통하여 형성되며, 상기 단위체의 상면에 형성된 다기능 홈에는 종묘로프가 삽입된 후, 가압수단에 의해 가압 고정되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
