The method is applied to a server (210), and the server (210) is in communicative connection with a planting box (220). The method comprises the following steps: receiving an operation request sent, by a first terminal, for a planting box； determining whether a pre-set operation mode of the planting box is a secure mode； and if not, generating an operation control instruction according to the operation request, and sending the operation control instruction to the planting box.
