PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable ceramide-containing external preparation for the skin, suitable for the external preparation for the skin, and having high degree of freedom.SOLUTION: The external preparation for the skin includes (1) an &alpha,&epsi-bis(&gamma-N-(10-30C) acylglutamyl)lysine and/or a salt thereof, and (2) the ceramide. The &alpha,&epsi-bis(&gamma-N-(10-30C) acylglutamyl)lysine is preferably &alpha,&epsi-bis(&gamma-N-lauroylglutamyl)lysine, and the ceramide is preferably ceramide type 2.
