An imaging system (100) includes an image capturing unit (102) and an optical unit (104) coupled to the image capturing unit (102). The imaging system (100) further includes a computing device (106) coupled to the image capturing unit (102). The imaging system (100) also includes a support unit (110) coupled to the image capturing unit (102) and the optical unit (104). Further, the illumination unit (108) is coupled to the computing device (106). The illumination unit (108) includes a plurality of light units disposed in a predefined configuration. The computing device (106) is configured to control operational parameters of the illumination unit (108) to illuminate a fundus of an eye of a patient over a predefined wide-angle field of view corresponding to a region of interest of the patient's eye and/or a plurality of imaging parameters of the image capturing unit (108) to capture images with required characteristics.L'invention concerne un système d'imagerie (100) comprenant une unité de capture d'image (102) et une unité optique (104) couplée à l'unité de capture d'image (102).
