There is disclosed a plant supporting trellis work system comprising a plurality of trellis modules, e.g. of right angle isosceles triangle, right angle triangles, quadrant, secondary circular, and rectangular shape, and spacer means for spacing each module from the support means with which the trellis system is intended to be used, the modules each having frame elements and support elements mounted on the frame elements and at least one of the modules being non-rectilinear in that in that module at least some of the support elements are disposed at angles other than 90 DEG to at least some of the frame elements.
