A rotary catcher of heavy additives in a liquid flow consists of a working drum, fixed on the shaft with the aid of spokes with a drive for rotation and mounted into a semi-cylindrical body. On the external and internal surface of the drum tape coils of a screw are fixed, and on the side of moving of the liquid flow a wheel for accepting and unloading foreign matters is coaxially fixed to the drum. Said wheel has pockets connected with the internal hollow of the drum by openings. A circular receiver with pockets at the same time operates as an unloader of foreign matters into a tray. On the shaft, concentrically to the working drum of the stone catcher, a solid external drum of a diameter equal to the diameter of the external coils of the screw on the working drum is additionally mounted. The first half of the working drum, on the side of moving of the mixture, is made as a solid one, and that second &ndash as a perforated one. On the side surface of the unloading wheel holes are made.
