PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject fixing tool which suppresses the occurrence of motion artifacts by reliably fixing a head part or the like if the head part or the like is located in any position at any angle and an X-ray CT apparatus equipped with the subject fixing tool.SOLUTION: The subject fixing tool is used by wrapping a head part fixing band 8 and a jaw part fixing band 9 around the head part and a jaw part of a subject 5 lying on the back and by fixing the band 8 and the band 9 with hook and loop fasteners 28, 28 attached to deep grooves 26, 26 of a holder part 7. At the time, the band 8 and the band 9 are fixed in a manner to insert the bands 8, 9 into the deep grooves 26, 26.
