The present invention relates to a composition for controlling release of a drug. Specifically, the composition for controlling release of a drug includes a sustained release polymer in a matrix form as a framework and obtains a release control ability of the sustained release polymer by carbomer in which sol-gel change occurs by PH. The composition for controlling release of a drug contains a solubilizer to be appropriate for a case in which a drug to be released has a highly insoluble performance and additionally contains a disintegrating agent for sufficient initial release. The composition for controlling release of a drug can prevent the drug from being suddenly released due to disintegration of a matrix structure after elusion by applying the carbomer with sol-gel change properties and retains sustained release properties of an existing matrix structure that the sustained release polymer has.
